3D printed

earthen wall

with embedded staircase

Can the additive manufacturing become the future architectural solution?

We do believe the answer is Yes.

The prototype was designed in 40 cm thick with timber elements interlocked to provide support for the staircase and secondary structure. Despite a great amount of research and fabrication in additive manufacturing in architecture, very less of them are focusing on the potential of the load-bearing structure. Therefore, the project can be considered a pioneer in the field of large scale 3d printing structure system
